National Facilities Management & Technology Conference March 13-17, 2011

As the country’s #1 conference and exposition for non-residential building owners, facility managers, maintenance engineers, directors of sustainability, planning, operations and management, NFMT gives the attendees access to the people, future-forward products and information within the perspective of Facilities Management as opposed to building technologies. The purpose of the conference is to enhance the value of the facility, streamline operations, establish best practices, purchase innovative facility products and systems.

On June 8, 2011 Daryl gave a seminar to 46 attendees on new green lighting technologies.

Lighting systems are among the most frequently targeted in sustainability initiatives in the built environment. Thanks to emerging technologies and methods such as LEDs, daylighting and induction, there are a plethora of opportunities to reduce electricity energy use, improve lighting quality and decrease a building’s carbon footprint. So how can facility managers best select from the breadth and variety of choices that seem to crop up continually? This webcast will inform attendees about the applications and benefits of new (and up-and-coming) devices that provide energy savings in a variety of facilities.
