Daryl DeJean was one of three guests speakers invited by Labor Management Cooperation Council, NECA- IBEW, to present the folowing crucial topics for all stakeholders interested in the Zero Net Energy Roadmap of the State of California and the strategies that are critical in developing cost- effective energy management strategies to attain energy neutrality.
•Integration of building technologies for efficiency gains.
•Assessing and validating technology transfer for the customer.
•Benchmarking
Having assessed many emerging technologies under the mircroscope and in situ, Daryl DeJean shed insight into the decision making process that has to occur before jumping into any projects. He emphasized the need for proper assessment through cost effectiveness evaluation, measurement and verification, idientification of the end-users needs and applying the all too imprtant State of California Strategi Loading Order.
Members of LA Chapters of IFMA, BOMA, USGBC, NECA, IBEW and AIA attended . A lively discussion occurred between speakers who appeared after the presentation on a discussion panel.
