LED Resources & Applications July 21, 2010

LED Applications and Resources Seminar July 21, 2010 San Diego sponsored by San Diego Gas & Electric

As a follow-up to the LED Basics seminar, this seminar introduced cost-effective LED applications. During this seminar the audience learned about the US DOE initiatives to help them determine if LEDs are appropriate for their lighting projects. An overview of the various DOE quality assurance initiatives was provided to attendees to differentiate good products from other market offerings and applications. In depth review of the US DOE SSL website allowed the audience to develop a solid frame of refernce for evaluating the new technology and compare performance of different versions of the same product.

The seminar covered how to apply important technical information to the particular application whether it is downlight or exterior lighting.

Lee and Daryl: Thank you so much for all you have done to help MTH. This is a wonderful testament to your dedication and support of our museum. It's particularly fitting that this is up on the Energy Star site in April as we celebrate Twain's centennial. Thank you." Jeffrey L. Nichols Executive Director The Mark Twain House & Museum
